To be fair to Gerald Kaufman, the grapefruit bowls are apparently related to a severe OCD, so as a sufferer of several mild OCDs myself I can (to an extent) understand him thinking of them as a necessity from a psychological point of view - not satisfying an OCD can be very distressing. That doesn't justify the other claims though (£225 for a pen!?), and certainly not his voting record.

Wow. That's really interesting Sheila. If you'd like to write something about it for Mule or would like us to do it, please get in touch to editor@themule.info. Good luck!

The LibDem MPs in Stockport - Mark Hunter and Andrew Stunell - would appear to have given large amounts of taxpayers' money from their office allowances to various LibDem organisations in return for pagers, away days, research etc - well over £65,000 by my reckoning. I have asked to see details of the research etc but have had this request denied by Andrew Stunell.
