FC United offer free activities for kids over summer

This summer FC United of Manchester are launching a number of free community activities for children and young people across the city. The activities will run throughout the summer holidays in a bid to promote football and other sports to 8-16 year olds.
The activities include the following:
– Orford Road Playing Fields, Newton Heath, Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 3pm to 5pm, 8-16 year olds, Football and other sports.
– Bradford Park, Every Tuesday and Thursday, 1pm to 3pm, 8-16 year olds, football and other sports.
– Cheetwood Community Centre, Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1pm to 3pm, 8-16 year olds, football
– Cheetwood Community Centre, Every Tuesday and Thursday, 11 am to 1pm, 8-16 year olds, all sports
St Augustine’s Primary School, Monsall, Every Tuesday and Thursday 1pm to 3pm, 8-16 year olds, football
Parkview Primary School, Miles Platting, Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 5pm to 8pm, football for 8-16 year olds.
As well as this the club will be holding a number of special events : Miles Platting Festival is on the 24 July (from 12 noon), at Victoria Mill Park and a girls football camp at Ten Acres Lane, Newton Heath on the 26 and 30 of July from 2pm to 5pm.
FC United Manager Karl Marginson will be hosting a day of sports and activities for 8-11 year olds at New Moston Primary school which will take place throughout August. Further football events for 8-16 year olds will be held at Phillips Park in Newton Heath on Monday 16 August, Thursday 19 August, Monday 23 August and Thursday 26 August.
