Why do Manchester and Salford need an alternative press? Debate on Tue 25 February 2014

The Manchester and Salford Branch of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) kindly hosts a debate on the past and future of MULE and the local independent press. Why do Manchester and Salford need a radical press? Guest speakers are Tony Harcup (University of Sheffield, author of “Alternative Press, Alternative Voices”), Stephen Kingston (Salford STAR) and Rich Goulding (MULE editor).
