Don’t have time to trawl through the minute details of the NHS white paper? UK hip-hop artist MC NxtGen is behind this excellent digest of what Andrew Lansley rap changes to the healthcare system will mean in a scathing and witty response to Health Minister Andrew Lansley. He also lays bare some of Lansley’s commercial interests and his shameful expenses record.
Last week the members of the British Medical Association voted to oppose the reforms, joining a long list of GPs, trade unions, patient groups and healthcare charities who take a similar position. In the face of widespread opposition the government has nevertheless said it will push forward with the unpopular reforms which would radically alter the structure of the NHS.
